Our client, a Fortune 500 company in San Antonio, TX is looking for a SAP Specialist.​ This is a Direct Hire opportunity with exciting compensation and benefits.​

This position offers rewarding challenges and considerable variety due to application enhancements and development needed for multiple business groups within the company including the Trading, Risk Management, Scheduling, Transportation, Wholesale Marketing, Renewable Energy Marketing, Pricing, Billing and Accounting.​ Using SAP knowledge, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity to recommend and provide new functionality that is needed by these business groups.​ You will provide significant value to the company by applying your SAP knowledge and functional familiarity with MM, SD, IS Oil, TSW, and FI to develop solutions that are technically and functionally sound.​ In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow by working closely with the business and by working with other teams on major developments.​

In this role, you will:
• Analyze, define, configure, implement, and support existing systems, new systems or major modifications to existing systems;
• Investigate existing business processes and associated technical solutions;
• Recommend alternative/​improved solutions to meet business requirements;
• Manage and coordinate business user interactions, including process reviews, testing, training, and post implementation support;
• Generate system specification, testing, and training documentation;
Interact with all levels of management within multiple business divisions as well as within the Information Services group.​

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.​

Minimum five years of expert knowledge of SAP's SD and MM configuration required, including two years of ABAP/​4, Java, Netweaver XI, Portal or BW experience.​ .​

Minimum of three years of experience in SAP configuration, system support, or implementation with a broad and deep understanding of an entire business process chain preferred.​

Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products required.​

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required in order to develop documentation and interact with all levels of management within various business divisions as well as within the Information Services group.​ Excellent organizational skills are required to manage and coordinate business user interactions, including process reviews, testing, training, and post implementation support.​

Must be able to thoroughly investigate existing business processes and associated technical solutions.​

Ability to deliver enhanced functionality, aid with new implementations, and provide continuous support within the scheduled time while preserving system integrity required.​

Ability to sustain maximum performance levels in a high stress, high expectation, and high demand position required.​

High degree of initiative, creativity and technical ability to function on this team required.​ Development experience with Object Oriented ABAP, including BAPI’s, BADI’s, Custom Screen Design, Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and SAPScript required.​

Ability to meet daily production support needs required.​ Must have a broad and comprehensive functional knowledge base of SAP SD and MM modules.​ TSW, IS Oil, and FI experience a plus.​ E

xperience with Netweaver tool set (PI, Web Dynpro, and Visual Composer) a plus.​ Must be able to travel on an as-needed basis.​

Must be able to provide after-hours support or 24/​7 support on a rotating basis or as needed.​
